Juniors and Youths

Due to high demand for places the juniors section is currently full and the waiting list is closed. Due to Covid-19 and the current BTF and government guidelines and restrictions on training in groups unfortunately no new members can be taken on at this time. We will review this in October 2020 and hope to start taking new members from the waiting list in January 2021 if there are places available.

We apologise to all those who are on the waiting list and thank you for your patience.

The junior/youth section of Chichester Westgate Triathlon Club welcomes those aged 8-18 years, and is suitable for all levels of ability – we prioritise participation, effort, and good sportsmanship. The coached sessions are divided into two groups:- the juniors (8-14 years old) and the youth (14-17 years old). The lead coach for the juniors is Nicky McCulloch and the lead coach for the youth is Adam McCulloch. New or less experienced 14 year old children are welcome to attend the juniors group.

Additional sessions you can look forward to include yoga, strength and conditioning, and further activator led sessions around the three main disciplines.  During the off-season the head coach puts on a series of workshops covering all aspects of the sport to help beginners and seasoned pros alike.

For all enquiries regarding the Chichester Westgate Junior Triathlon Club please contact Nicky McCulloch at cwtctristars@gmail.com
