CWTC Youths

The youth group is by invite from the Youth lead coach.

If you are enquiring about the youth group (over 14 years old) please note that youth members must be proficient in swimming front crawl, running and road cycling . They will need to have use of a road bike and will be asked to attend a trial session before joining . This is a small group of athletes which enables road cycling and sea swimming to be able to take place safely with the youth coaches. Places in this group are sought after therefore anyone wishing to join the youth will be expected to show a commitment to the sport and the club by regularly attending sessions, completing their own personal training outside of the club and entering multi sport events.

We also offer training camps in the New Forest for the youth group and specific sessions such as open water swimming in the summer and run and strength and conditioning training on the beach.

We have previously invited guest speakers to deliver talks on subjects such as sports psychology and nutrition.

The youth group swim on Thursday evenings 7:30-8:30pm. The youth group attend Saturday bike/run sessions at a variety of locations, and cycle on the roads.
